From The President:
Dear Cancer Fighters,
What does it look like to be a Cancer Fighter Member?
How can we Impact a Cure for ALL of these TYPES of CANCERS?
Well, it happens in many ways- in the small and large things we do as individuals and as an Organization! Cancer Fighters of Houston has played an important role for the last 36 years.
Houston is known as one of the Most Charitable cities in the nation, and Cancer Fighter's has played a significant role in that activity, by Awarding GRANT SUPPORT annually to LOCAL DOCTORS for INNOVATIVE RESEARCH for Diverse Types of Cancer- We are making strides toward Reducing Cancer Deaths!
Offering Educational Seminars to the Community on Diverse Cancers has been a Focus this year. In February it was Prostrate Cancer, and in June it was about Colon Cancer. I hope that you can attend and bring a new friend to
meet us at our future Educational Seminars!
I am thrilled to share the hard work members and friends of CFOH do throughout the year in our newsletters, website update, and on our Facebook page. The 2nd Annual Spring Gala in April was a huge success, thanks to the many who helped shape the strategy and vision.
I CHALLENGE EACH OF YOU THIS YEAR TO PARTICIPATE IN SOME WAY AND TO EXPOSE OUR ORGANIZATION TO ALL OF WHOM YOU MEET ALONG LIFE'S JOURNEY!!!!!!!
Having someone in your corner can help transform a crazy-busy and sometimes overwhelming year into a GREAT MEMORY, and for me, that's worth it!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks for letting me be your President.
Contact me with your new ideas and your willingness to serve,
Two Thousand and Seventeen
